The official Pocketpair website Pal World game revealed on Friday the three patents that Nintendo and The Pokémon Company alleged patent infringement in their lawsuit against Pocketpair. Furthermore, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are “asking for an injunction against gambling and compensation for part of the damages that occurred between the date of registration of the patents and the date of filing of this action”. Sony Music Entertainment Japan Inc. and its subsidiary Aniplextogether with Pocketpair, established a new joint venture called Palworld Entertainment in July.
South Korean game developer Krafton signed a licensing agreement with Pocketpair for IP (intellectual property) to expand the game IP to the mobile platform.
